Fire Engineer – Associate

London (or Manchester)

Leading multi-disciplinary Built Environment Consultancy providing high class services in surveying, engineering, project management, cost consultancy, compliance and fire safety throughout England, Wales and Scotland are seeking an Associate level fire engineer as their fire engineering service provision continues to develop at pace to match the immediate and growing demand from existing and new clients.

The successful candidate will need to be fully conversant with current fire safety legislation and technical standards as well as having a full understanding of current fire safety issues, trends and best practice.

You will hold a higher education qualification in engineering or in a fire safety related subject and will either be a chartered fire engineer or a fire engineer with equivalent experience and expertise.  For Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) members, this should be a chartered or incorporated engineer with full membership of the Institution.  For non-IFE members, you should be a fully qualified member of a relevant professional body that deals with fire safety in the built environment, with either actual or equivalence to the chartered or incorporated engineer status.

The role is national (primarily England and Wales), and the successful candidate will operate out of their London or, potentially, their Manchester office.
